Marriage according to the Bible

Marriage according to the Most High is about a man taking on the responsibilities of becoming a husband and a woman taking on the responsibilities of becoming a wife. This must be learned because all men are not marriage material neither do all women make good wives. This is a truth that we often find out much too late. This is a reality that must be explained with the Holy Scriptures.

Hebrews 13:4: “Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.”
Marriage is honorable in the sight of the Most High and the sexual union between the husband and wife in bed is not defiled. Whoremongers are those that have sex with this one and that one, never bound to anyone. Adulterers are those that dedicate themselves to a spouse then break the commitment of marriage they made. The Most High will condemn both the whoremonger and adulterer with either plagues of sickness, death or both.

Christ taught us that marriage was one of the first laws established by the Creator for man.
Matthew 19:4: “And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,”
5: “And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?”
A man leaves his fathers house to establish his own house, becoming one flesh (in mind both agreeing) and body (sexually).
6: “Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”
The marriages the Lord joins together are not to be put asunder; end in divorce, by either nosey family members or jealous friends which often happens today.

    Congrats on your union!

  2. Gabriel says:

All praises! Esau knows the importance of the marriage of the Israelite Man and his Woman. That’s why he’s hell bent on destroying it.

Sirach 25:[1] In three things I was beautified, and stood up beautiful both before God and men: the unity of brethren, the love of neighbours, a man and a wife that agree together.

    Notice anything missing?….
A ring, preacher, broom, You don’t need all the vain customs of today to be married, just the blessing of Yashiya. “Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”
