well what about Mark 7:17-19 when it is written.”17 After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable. 18″Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him ‘unclean’?19For it doesn’t go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods “clean.”)

    • Yeshaaya Ben Israel says:

Ron… the first thing you must do is get yourself the “King James” Bible, if you don’t already have one.

I mention this, because based on the verbage of the scriptures that you have quoted, it is evident that you are not using the King James Bible.

We teach the Word of the Most High God and Christ with the King James Bible, because it is the most accurate, as well as widely used… world wide.

Also, in order for you to get the full understanding of those scriptures Ron, or any scriptures written in the Holy Bible, for that matter, it only makes sense to be on one accord in everything (including grammar).

Now… Mark 7:1 clears up what Christ is conveying to his disciples in Mark 7: 17-19.

As a follow-up to Mark 7:1… you can go to Matthew 15:20.

Bottom line… Christ is referring to eating without washing your hands DOES NOT defile a man.

So no Ron… Jesus Christ is NOT declaring all foods clean!

Levitcus 11, covers the dietary law (what is CLEAN & UNCLEAN to EAT) for the Nation of Israel.

Truthly speaking. If Yah says to not eat any abominable meat JUST DONT DO IT and try not to find little verses to justfiy your cause. The ten commandments and the laws in leviticus were given to us for a reason because we are a special people with a purpose to learn to love YAH by following his laws to be judges. Following the laws makes one pure simple and converts the soul thus says the book of psalms 19:7-12.

    Shalom
This was a very good lesson. I recently left the Seventh Day Adventist Church once I started to learn the truth. Today several of the SDA congregation called me trying to pull me back into their fold. And one of them was a Seventh Day Adventist Female Elder, and I told her that she is not supposed to teach according to 1Timothy 2:11-12. And she referred me to Acts 2:17-18 to justify why she teaches. I didn’t have anything in response to that, considering I’m still learning. But I am awake, no longer asleep, and cannot return to their church.
    Can you help me?

    • Acts 2:17 “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God,I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:”
      That doesn’t mean teach men. A sister may get a vision or a dream and reveal what she saw that’s it. Or she may teach young sisters according to TITUS 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
[4] That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
Everything must be done decently and in order.
In regards to men and women the Lord says
1 Timothy2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
[12] But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
[13] For Adam was first formed, then Eve.”
Anything other than that is EVIL.

No matter how much people twist the scriptures I cannot find an excuse for defying the lay and getting away with it. I believe most people are aware that the christian churches are places of social events especially designed for women who find avenues to become pastors , evangelists, apostles, and whatever titles and positions of so called authority their pastors confer upon them. Of course to be given such positions one must be a faithful tither and a cheerful giver. I hope my sisters in christiandom will listen and learn from your teaching our place as women in Israel.

    Shalom Elder Nathanyel,

At your convenience, would you mind guiding me to the proper precepts of Romans 14:1-3 where Paul says for one believeth that he may eat all things: another who is weak eateth herbs? As you know, Christians use these verses to claim that we can’t judge man for eating anything abominable. Thank you and MHNCB!

    • Remember the Jews/kingdom of Judah that grew up under the strictness of the Law would not eat anything provided by or sold by the nations because they often dedicated the food to idols.
The apostle Paul addressed this debate many times explaining that idols are nothing.
1 Corinthians 8:4 “As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.”
7 “Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.”
Here are some precepts proving some of our fathers refused to eat anything offered to idols.
2 Maccabees 5:27 “But Judas Maccabeus with nine others, or thereabout, withdrew himself into the wilderness, and lived in the mountains after the manner of beasts, with his company, who fed on herbs continually, lest they should be partakers of the pollution.”
Daniel 1:12 “Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse [herbs] to eat, and water to drink.”
      Peace
